I love this time of year, when everything seems to slow… down… just enough… When you can sleep a little later and read that pile of magazines you’ve been holding onto for months. Or spend time just thinking. About the past year, about your hopes for the new year. When you can catch up on things that keep getting pushed to the bottom of your to-do list, like finally ordering your wedding thank you cards or de-cluttering all the junk you’ve somehow accumulated in such a short time. Or culling through photos that never made it off your hard drive, like these ones from our recent Thanksgiving trip to Moab, UT. Where it was cold, dry, and quiet. Where we could not have been more thankful to be surrounded by red canyon walls and looming grey skies. Where we stayed warm by bundling up, laughing, and eating delicious food around the campfire.
