It’s been more than three months since we returned from our Hawaiian honeymoon and some mornings in between that moment of being awake and actually opening my eyes, I find myself thinking we are still there. While in Hawaii, we found adventure and beauty everywhere we turned, so you can imagine the number of photos I snapped. I’ve culled these down to some of my favorites and because the two islands we visited were so deliciously unique, I’ve decided to share these photos with you in separate installments. Kauai was the first island we visited. This magical place has it’s own beautiful heartbeat. It moves at a pace that allows all of your senses to go wild. It was here we raced through rain to catch rainbows every. single. day. Climbed down to beaches where ours were the only footprints. Received our daily wake-up call the most natural way, from the island’s rampant chicken population. Met both human and non-human creatures that we will forever remember. And drank the most indescribable Mai Tai’s that I would challenge anyone to rival. Take a peak into why they call this emerald beauty, The Garden Isle.
