Black Rock Yacht Club Wedding

Kailen and Brian’s Black Rock Yacht Club wedding was one of the silver linings in my 2020 wedding season. Even amidst so much uncertainty and changing of plans, they were able to keep their original date and location for the most beautiful coastal wedding. Their wedding day completely reflected their caring, light-hearted spirits and who they are as a couple. Now living in Boston (with their sweet pup Oakley!) they both grew up spending much of their childhood and teen years on these Connecticut beaches. The little nautical touches and neutral colors truly showcased the beauty of this quintessential New England spot.

I think what most reflects Kailen and Brian are the people they’re surrounded by. As with most weddings in 2020, guest lists had to be scaled back. With only being able to have their nearest and dearest in attendance, you could just tell how special their loved ones were – siblings that are best friends, childhood friends who are more like sisters, adoring parents, and adorable nephews that already look up to them.

It was all around a perfect day – one I’ll never forget and of course I know Kailen and Brian won’t either!
