New Paltz, NY Engagement Session | Laura + Joe

There could not have been a more perfect day for a more perfect couple than Laura and Joe’s engagement session at the Mohonk Preserve Gatehouse in new Paltz, NY. This may have been the peak weekend for leaf peepers in the Hudson Valley and I just love that after a few cold days, the sun decided to shine beautifully on the happy couple.  Laura and Joe put such sweet thought into their shoot beforehand, planning outfits that were comfortable and would give them some variety in their photos, as well as bringing along a few sentimental props {a few of which I’ll share later after they’ve sent their ‘Save the Date’ cards!}. I was pretty much in heaven during our afternoon together…. the gorgeous location with sparkling light plus this happily in-love couple that I could see myself spending happy hour with in nearby downtown New Paltz.
