Photographing you with a documentary approach is the most honest and thoughtful way to tell your story. As a former bride, some of my favorite photos are the ones that we didn’t even realize were being captured. It brings me right back to that day with my husband and surrounded by our loved ones. Which is why I believe that you should not only have classic, traditional portraits of you as a couple, but also every joyful and romantic moment in between.
On your wedding day, I strive to capture the love and authenticity of you in an honest, timeless and organic manner. With a non-invasive approach, I work to make sure you are comfortable, capture true emotions and prefer to use natural light. I’m one of the few people who will be with you all day so we’ll quickly become friends and I’ll get to know your family, crying right alongside them. Together we’ll document lifelong memories.

I believe that your wedding photos should always be three things: natural, timeless, and romantic. I photograph a limited number of weddings each year to ensure that you feel comfortable, receive a boutique experience and have photos that will make you fall in love over and over again as you grow old together.

The Process
Before your wedding, through a series of meetings and emails, I’ll get to know you and your fiancé - how you met and what you dream of for your future. What your interests are and what we have in common. And of course, all your wedding details! Whatever it is that makes your love story uniquely yours so I can capture you authentically. You'll also receive a detailed wedding guide filled with tips and information based on my decade of experience in the wedding industry.
I start preparing for your big day well before the actual wedding date. I'll check-in about two months before the wedding to chat about the timeline, your details, family formal shot lists, special traditions and anything else I should know about. With all of this information, I'll provide a comprehensive timeline for your wedding day.
In addition to having your timeline finalized and all my gear organized, I visualize your day and sketch out how I plan to creatively capture it.
It's finally here! The day the two of you say "I Do" and dance the night away surrounded by family and friends.
On your wedding day, I arrive prior to our start time, prepared and excited to document your beautiful day. I take a documentary-style approach guiding you rather than posing you. I like to get a mix of traditional (smiling at the camera) and lifestyle (smiling at each other) photos.
Within 60 days of your wedding, I’ll deliver your beautifully curated gallery so you can begin to relive every magical moment from your big day! From here, you can download and share your digital images.
After you've had some time with your photos, I'll help you create a permanent place for them to live in your home. Through an intuitive gallery, you can choose custom printed goods from prints to albums and more. These are heirlooms that will truly stand the test of time.

HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE DO I NEED?
This all depends on the logistics of your day, but most weddings need 8 hours of coverage to document the full story of your day. This is one of the first things we’ll chat about on a consultation call or you can download my free Timeline Guide to get started!

CAN YOU RECREATE PHOTOS FROM ANOTHER WEDDING I’VE SEEN?
The simple answer is, no. My approach is custom and catered to your day. I have some go-to directions I like to give but I do not have a specific list of poses nor will I try to recreate mine or another photographer’s pose. It disrupts the creative flow and the natural tendencies of you as a couple and the nuances of your day. Trust me to capture the beautiful, authentic moments of your love story!

Yes! One of the best ways to make your wedding memories last is by ordering an album. These high quality professionally designed albums come in a variety of linen & leather colors. It's natural to feel a little nervous about having your photos taken on your wedding day. It takes time for most couples to warm up to being photographed and understand how I guide and work with you. Which is why I've found that wedding day portraits turn out so much better when couples do engagement sessions ahead of time. Engagement sessions also allow you to showcase your personalities in a more casual or sentimental setting.
