Hudson Valley Maternity Photography | A Celebration of Motherhood. If you’re like me, you believe that romance can be found anywhere, most of all in the relationship between an expecting mama and her baby. What started as a classic styled shoot with a number of incredibly talented ladies and vendors quickly turned into something much more meaningful. The more we planned, the more the essence of the shoot became about creating a space for mothers-to-be in every walk of life to gather for a day of pampering and photos that would preserve this special time in their lives.

Therefore the style of this shoot really evolved into a motherhood gathering, where each woman received hair, makeup and wardrobe styling, an Everyday Mother Journal, and a quote piece for their nurseries, handmade by Bespoke Designs. Not only were each of the models pregnant, but also the event planner, hair stylist and myself! (and the makeup artist, floral designer, and stationery designer were already moms!) It really felt like a little magical motherhood world had flourished around us!

At the end of this special day, we had bonded as women and mothers and have continued engaging with one another in this little community we have created. We plan to recreate this beautiful day annually, so that other mamas can also experience the same magical moments we shared together.
