Megan and James were married this past August and celebrated with a beautiful Diamond Mills Hotel wedding. The bride’s good taste and attention to detail (just wait until you see the florals!) resulted in a perfectly cohesive day, completed by the presence of all their loving friends and family members.
This couple is fun, good-natured, and sports-loving and the way they tell their story sums them up perfectly. It starts off…
“In Megan’s Match.com profile she indicated that she was looking for a guy to take her to more sporting events… She didn’t know what she was getting into.”
“In James’s profile, he indicated he was looking for someone to go explore the city with… He too did not understand what he was getting into.”
The rest of the story involves a typo in a vital email which led to James texting someone in China. Someone who definitely wasn’t Megan! Thankfully he didn’t give up easily and they were able to solve the confusion and schedule a time to meet.
The beginning of their love story ends like this: “Their first date was at a local restaurant on the Upper East Side. James got there early (per usual) while Megan took the city bus (not usual). The conversation continued on for 5 hours, even with the Knicks game on in the background. This would be foreshadowing for all their years to come… James had found his teammate for life.”
These two are so perfect together and I had a blast photographing their wedding day. Megan and James, I wish you the happiest future, filled with many exciting dates at as many sporting events as possible!
