I’m thrilled to announce my first ever Celebration of Motherhood Mini Session Photography Event! Join me for a day of pampering and celebrating YOU, beautiful mama! After everything you do to love and nurture your family, you deserve a day to treat yourself!
On May 19th, I’ll be hosting Motherhood Mini Photo Sessions at Prana Prenatal Yoga Studio in Port Chester, NY. In addition to having this precious time in your life captured, you can meet and mingle with other NDP mamas, pick up a swag bag, and feel totally pampered. This event includes:
- 15 minute portrait session
- Live floral backdrop provided by Enza Events
- Access to my studio wardrobe
- 10 high-resolution professionally edited, downloadable images with print release
- Swag Bag
- Light Refreshments
- Petite Hair + Makeup Experience may be added on for $125

Is the Event open to expecting moms?
- Yes, this event is open to moms with children or those expecting.
How about moms with newborn babies?
- If you have a newborn baby aged 0-2 months, I’d recommend booking a private newborn session with me. The private session allows for the time a newborn needs to be changed, fed and soothed. It also allows for the time and peacefulness a postpartum mama often needs. And with many children coming in and out of the studio at this event, it wouldn’t be advised to have a newborn present. All that being said, if you still feel that you’d like to reserve a spot at the event, please email me at nicole@nicoledetonephotography.com and we can chat more.
What does the petite hair + makeup add-on include?
- The petite makeup add-on includes any traditional application for $75. The petite hair add-on includes your choice of romantic curls, loose braid, or soft & simple updo for $75. If you wish to choose both hair and makeup, the fee is $125. All hair and makeup add-ons are to be paid directly to the beauty artists at the event.
- If you choose to add-on hair & makeup, please allow for 30 minutes for each service before your photo session.
- If having your hair and/or makeup done, please bring along your partner or another caregiver that can be with your children. This way you can relax and enjoy being pampered!
How early should I arrive before my session time?
- It’s important to note that these sessions are back-to-back and times cannot be adjusted if anyone is running late. Please give yourself ample driving time, time to park, look through wardrobe if you wish, dress you and your children, 30 minutes for hair and 30 minutes for makeup. Knowing the nature of kids, I’d recommend giving yourself extra time for the unexpected!
Tell more more about the wardrobe options. Can I wear my own outfit?
- I’ll have dresses available that photograph beautifully and are flattering for pregnant, postpartum and seasoned mamas. I also have a selection of coordinating children’s clothes that will be available! To see all of the options and sizes prior to the event, click here!
- You are more than welcome to wear your own outfits! White, light, neutral colors with limited patterns will photograph best. For outfit inspiration, click here!
- Important note, the studio has a no-shoe policy so please plan your family’s outfits around something you are comfortable being barefoot in. (The welcome and lounge areas are shoe friendly!)
Can my husband be included?
- This is a moms-only event but if you would like to book a full family session so that your husband is included, email me at nicole@nicoledetonephotography.com. I hope to one day have a Fatherhood event, but currently there is not one scheduled.
My family has two moms, should we book two sessions?
- Whatever you wish! If you’d like to be photographed together, only one session in needed. If you want to be photographed individually, two session spots should be reserved.
I am a single dad or my family has two dads, can we be included?
