A Stunning Belle Mer Wedding Day In Newport, RI!
Don’t you just love a New England wedding? Kathleen and Craig were married in Newport, Rhode Island, at the stunning oceanfront Belle Mer wedding venue. Their day was especially meaningful to me, as I’ve known Craig since we were kids! Our families have been very close for years, so when we met Kathleen, we knew she was the one.

The Belle Mer Wedding Day
Their Belle Mer wedding ceremony took place outside on the meticulously manicured Ocean Lawn, and guests moved inside to the grand and airy Water Salon for the reception. With Craig’s mom, Nancy, passing away recently, guests and the couple honored and celebrated her throughout the day. Happy and sentimental tears were shared by all, and the feeling of their wedding day is something I’ll always hold in my heart.
The Details
And oh my goodness, the details! Kathleen was stunning in a simple yet elegant Vera Wang gown, and her bridesmaids wore flowy coordinating dresses in mixed and matched styles. Craig and his groomsmen were dressed in matching Bonobos suits, and everyone’s attire perfectly complimented their coastal surroundings. The all-white reception space couldn’t have been more classic or more “Kathleen and Craig”!
The Celebration
The officiant, Nancy’s lifelong friend, truly brought all of the guests together to celebrate the couple. Then, the best men and maid-of-honor speeches brought down the house! Their perfect day turned into the perfect night, and I couldn’t be happier for this new husband and wife!
